About VulnAway

VulnAway is a managed vulnerability-watch service: you tell it which vendors and products you run, and it e-mails you the relevant CVEs — as fast as your plan allows, and again whenever the risk picture changes.

Data sources

CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) — the global catalogue of publicly disclosed vulnerabilities (identifiers such as CVE-2024-12345), ingested from the NVD (NIST National Vulnerability Database).
CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System) — the severity score from 0.0 to 10.0 (versions 3.1 and 4.0). We keep the best available score per CVE.
EPSS (Exploit Prediction Scoring System, by FIRST.org) — the probability (0–100 %) that a vulnerability will be exploited in the wild within the next 30 days. Refreshed daily.
KEV (Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, by CISA) — the list of vulnerabilities with confirmed active exploitation, with remediation due dates.

All feeds are refreshed continuously; timestamps are stored in UTC and displayed in the server time zone (Europe/Zurich).

Your watches

You choose the vendors and, optionally, the specific products to monitor. A vendor-wide watch covers every product of that vendor; a product-level watch narrows it down. The Basic tier tracks up to 5 entries.

Alerts — as fast as your plan

The alert cadence (from hourly to weekly) depends on your plan. Faster plans are notified sooner — sometimes before the CVSS score is even assigned, so you learn about a fresh CVE affecting your stack without waiting for the scoring to settle.

Alerts are also re-issued when the picture changes: a new or revised CVSS score, a change in severity, or a shift in exploitability (entry into the KEV catalogue, EPSS movement). You are told what changed, not just that something did.

Monthly price per plan, VAT excluded. A commitment of 3, 6 or 12 months grants a loyalty discount; the price is locked in at sign-up.

Payment, deadlines & account status

Bank transfer only — each invoice ships as a Swiss QR-bill (or IBAN/BIC for international debtors). No card, no direct debit.
Payment term: 7 days from the invoice date.
Past due — if an invoice stays unpaid past its due date, the account is placed under restricted service: alerts keep coming, but only as a summary (counts and CVSS range) until payment clears.
Deletion — an invoice left unpaid is followed by a warning, then, after a further grace period, permanent deletion of the account and its data (in line with data-protection duties).
Paying a restricted account immediately lifts the restriction and sends you a single catch-up e-mail with every detail you missed.
